Terms of Service

Effective September 26, 2026 · Version 2026-09-26

These Terms govern your use of WhatLedger, including its hosted website, account services and related app features. By selecting “I agree & create account,” you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. If you use WhatLedger for a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

2. What the service does

WhatLedger provides tools for trading-card inventory, purchase imports, sales and show records, materials, watchlists, card identification and business reporting. You retain ownership of the information you submit. You give us permission to process it as needed to operate the features you choose, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to upload or connect the information you provide. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized access, abusive requests, interference with other users or attempts to bypass access controls or scan limits.

3. Check information before acting

Card matches, AI suggestions, marketplace prices, forecasts, profit calculations and tax summaries can be incomplete, stale or incorrect. Review card printing, condition, language, quantities and costs before saving records or buying. Reports depend on your inputs and the data available. WhatLedger does not guarantee card values, sales, profits, identification accuracy or tax outcomes and does not provide professional tax, legal or investment advice. You are responsible for your own records, filings and business decisions.

4. Connected services and purchases

Optional integrations, including Gmail, CardTrader, TCGplayer, OpenAI and Stripe, are also subject to their providers’ terms and availability. WhatLedger is not those providers or a marketplace seller. Marketplace links can lead to third-party websites. If you enable automatic purchasing or watchlist actions, you authorize the actions within the settings you choose. Review limits carefully and stop automation when you no longer want it to act. Deleting WhatLedger does not undo purchases already made with a marketplace.

5. Plans, payments and scans

Current prices, included features and scan allowances appear in the app and at checkout. Paid subscriptions renew at the disclosed interval until canceled. You can manage a subscription through the billing controls in Settings. Cancellation normally ends access at the end of the paid period shown; account deletion ends access immediately.

AI scans submitted to the service can count toward your allowance even when no usable match is returned. Retrying the same recorded request does not consume a second credit. On-device matches do not use AI credits. Paid scan credits do not expire while your account remains open and are preserved while Pro is active. Deleting your account forfeits unused credits and ends access to paid features. Deletion does not itself issue a refund. For payment or refund questions, contact support; nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that applicable law requires.

6. Account deletion and your records

In Settings → Your profile → Delete account, read the warning and type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm. Deletion permanently removes your account and active app records, including inventory, purchases, sales, shows, materials, tax documents, saved settings and connected-service credentials. Groups you own are deleted and your memberships are removed; other users’ own business records are not deleted. Download any records you need before confirming.

We remove the linked Stripe customer to stop its subscriptions and saved checkout access before completing deletion. If billing or a running sync prevents completion, the app will report an error so you can retry or contact support. Billing may already have been canceled if a later deletion step fails. Copies in backups, technical caches, service-provider records, downloads or information previously shared with other people may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and responsibility

We may update features, fix errors or restrict access to protect the service and its users. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that every third-party integration will remain available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect user inputs, third-party services, marketplace changes or decisions made solely from automated suggestions. Nothing here excludes responsibility or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes to these Terms

We will post revised Terms with an effective date and provide notice of material changes through the app or account email when appropriate. If additional agreement is required, we will request it. Contact support if you have questions about a change.
